Autogard are partners of the Cirencester Heritage in Light event.
The Cirencester Heritage in Light event is on 11th – 12th May 2012 in Cirencester town centre. The event celebrates the transformation and repair of the Parish Church in Cirencester’s Marketplace.
Cirencester Heritage in Light event features an outdoor, magic-lantern style show. Images evoking the town’s heritage and specially created children’s artwork will be projected on to the church, accompanied by music. The event is free of charge and suitable for all.
The Autogard Factory has been based in different locations within Cirencester, Gloucestershire since 1930. The parish church in the centre of Cirencester has been the focal point of this historic town for thousands of years. It is one of the largest churches in England.
Autogard are delighted to take the opportunity to become a partner of the Cirencester Heritage in Light event which enables us to give back something to the community that has provided our workforce for over 70 years.
Last year, British Autogard staff members decorated a Christmas tree which was displayed in Cirencester St. John the Baptist’s parish church as part of the Cirencester Christmas market festivities and this year is no different.
The tree opposite, decorated by a few members of staff with amongst other things some Autoflex flexrings is currently on display in the parish chruch. Sponsorship of the tree has contributed financially to the restoration fund of the church and Christmas street lighting in Cirencester.
Autogard which has been based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire since 1930 are delighted to take the opportunity to give back something to the community that has provided our workforce for over 70 years.
