For the past two years British Autogard have had a Christmas tree displayed in Cirencester’s St John the Baptist’s parish church as part of the Cirencester Christmas market festivities and this year is no exception!
The tree (pictured opposite) has been decorated by members of staff with amongst other things some Autogard flexrings and is currently on display in the church from Friday 30th November – 16th December 2012 for the parish churches: festival of trees.
The sponsorship of the tree contributes financially to the on going restoration of the church and towards the Christmas street lighting in Cirencester, Autogard who have been based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire for over 70 years are delighted to take the opportunity to give something back to the community that has provided our workforce.
Autogard are partners of the Cirencester Heritage in Light event.
The Cirencester Heritage in Light event is on 11th – 12th May 2012 in Cirencester town centre. The event celebrates the transformation and repair of the Parish Church in Cirencester’s Marketplace.
Cirencester Heritage in Light event features an outdoor, magic-lantern style show. Images evoking the town’s heritage and specially created children’s artwork will be projected on to the church, accompanied by music. The event is free of charge and suitable for all.
The Autogard Factory has been based in different locations within Cirencester, Gloucestershire since 1930. The parish church in the centre of Cirencester has been the focal point of this historic town for thousands of years. It is one of the largest churches in England.
Autogard are delighted to take the opportunity to become a partner of the Cirencester Heritage in Light event which enables us to give back something to the community that has provided our workforce for over 70 years.
